From the moment we met Kate and the team at the open day in September 2018 we knew Special Events Tipis were the right people for us. At this very sad and difficult time, we had to make the heartbreaking decision to postpone our wedding. Kate and the team at Special Events have been more than accommodating with helping us find another date for the wedding. As I franticly sent Kate around 5000 emails, she replied calmly and efficiently to every single one. She really is an angel and helped put my anxiety at ease. We really can’t thank Special Event Tipis enough for helping us make our dream wedding come true. From the very first conversation we had, to their open day we went to last August and the site visit with David, they couldn’t have been any more helpful. They really do know their stuff and have beautiful tipis. They were always at the end of the phone or email to answer any questions we had. Kate was so lovely and helped us so much on the run up to our big day. David and the install team were great. So polite and hard working! (A very long day with travelling over to us and then putting up four tipis). Every single one of you are AMAZING! Thanks to you our dream became a reality and it truely was magical. Not one of our guests had ever been to a tipi wedding before and we can honestly say every single one of them thought it was fantastic!

Massive thank you to Special Event Tipis!!! So incredibly grateful for playing a huge part in making our wedding day perfect!!! The team were amazing during the run up, quick to reply to emails and amazing with my indecisiveness! The team that came to set up the tipi were incredibly professional and worked so well in such a small space. It’s tough to please my Dad and he was keen to have a beer with them all which says it all. Thanks again! Massively recommend these guys!

Thanks to Special Event Tipis for making our day even more special with their amazing structures. We had a 4 hat tipi and it was perfect size and layout, which is all thanks to Amy, Kate and Dave for their advice on how to set it up. Any queries we had they answered quickly and made it feel easy in agreeing the final layout. Even the day before our wedding day, they were on hand to sort out any last requests we had which made things that little more special. Many thanks guys!

First of all a huge thank you to David and his team for their professionalism throughout the ‘putting up and taking down’ phase of the tipis, nothing was too much trouble. They were very efficient and super nice guys to boot! David was brilliant from the very first telephone conversation through to the end of the process. He even managed to calm down the panicked ‘what if it rains’ stage by offering a viable rainy day fall back plan, thankfully not needed! Above all Charis and Kieran were totally delighted, the tipis were all they had hoped for and more and perfectly suited the whole ethos of their wedding. Crucially they were in total harmony with and added their own magic to the beautiful ‘West Hall’ site. The Open Day was certainly an eye opener for me, whilst photographs are really useful, they cannot do full justice to the atmosphere created by actually being inside the tipis!

What can I say about Special Event Tipis?! From the very first enquiry, Kate, Dave and Amy have been fantastic. When I first started researching Tipi companies for our Autumnal wedding, Special Event Tipis stood out from the rest! They couldn’t do enough for you, every query was answered; the site visit was excellent and Dave gave us so many suggestions as to what we could do with space we hired. Kate and Amy answered my never ending list of questions and made changes to our layout. Special Event Tipis provided all the information we needed at the quotation stage in an itemised and easy to understand format. During the planning we were able to rely on their knowledge, and experience. They answered all our questions promptly and with all the information we required. At handover, they provided all of the information we needed to allow us to personalise the lighting, ventilation, heating etc. They also left us some bits and bobs to help decorate the tipi. Our whole experience with Special Event Tipis was totally amazing, so straight forward and stress free! Amy was so lovely and helpful from when we first met her at the Open Day right through to the big day.
