Absolutely Outstanding – the tipi’s are amazing and of the highest quality and finish. The extras they offer make the whole thing work perfectly, and the people involved are without exception top class. I have worked in the tented event world for many years but these guys are a class apart. If we ever have another event like our wedding we’ll be straight on the phone to them again. Thanks to all of them for making the day so special and so very reasonably priced!

I couldn’t recommend Special Event Tipis enough! We used Kate and her team for our wedding in August 2021 and from the moment we started communication I knew we wanted them to be part of our day. Although thorough and professional, the service was relaxed- no stress or pressure whatsoever! We were able to go and see the tipis set up whenever we wanted and adapt our equipment needs when we needed. Even through the pandemic they offered complete reassurance. We couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. These guys are amazing, they make the whole process so easy with the friendly communication and understandable breakdown of costs. You can add or take away from your quote at anytime, it so flexible. Absolutely brilliant to work with. Tipis looked so beautiful and were so right for our more rustic, alternative wedding. Kate and Dav were super helpful from start to finish, very knowledgeable and put up with an awful lot of chopping and changing i did over the last 2 years! Special Event Tipis provided us with a tipi last minute for our wedding in April 2021. When the government announced wedding receptions had to be outside 3 weeks before the wedding, they were really fast to reply with quotes and discuss setup etc. The tipi looked fantastic and there were so many lovely extras to chose from. They set it up 2 days before, giving us plenty of time to decorate and showed us how to turn on lights, heating, put the sides up/down etc which were all very simple. I would 100% recommend.

Fabulous experience with Special Event Tipi’s for our wedding reception at Brathay Hall at Windermere. Kate was super helpful and responsive from the start, helping us to arrange the tipi in just over 2 weeks as COVID restrictions changed. The tipi set up was very straight forward from our perspective and everyone involved with really friendly and helpful. The name says it all!! We fell in love with the tipis and knew they were what we wanted at our very first open day – they are so special and I just love everything about them! We’ve had a few bumps along the road with our wedding planning since but Kate, Dav, Amy and the rest of the team have been so amazing and supportive throughout and we can’t thank them enough. We finally had our very own tipi wedding on Saturday with a drastically reduced guest list and it couldn’t have been more perfect, all thanks to Kate’s quick thinking and moving our wedding forward a week with three days notice. I’d 100% recommend them for anyone considering a smaller wedding due to the restrictions at the moment as they can grow or shrink to your numbers! The only sad part was when they had to come down!
