Real weddings – Emma & Elliot

Now that winter is here & things have started to settle down at Special Event Tipis HQ, I wanted to share with you some of our favourite weddings from the past year. Whether you are still deciding on your wedding photographer or wedding venue, or looking for some stunning tipi decoration inspiration to bring out your inner wedding stylist, this feature is for you.

I will be listing links to all the fabulous featured wedding suppliers involved with each of our gorgeous tipi weddings, as recommended by our lovely couples. Emma & Elliot
Emma and Elliott will be starting us off with this new feature. We absolutely loved Emma & Elliott’s summer time Cumbrian wedding at the gorgeous Cumbrian wedding venue, High Barn on the Edenhall Estate. Emma was a fabulous organiser and a pleasure to work with on the run up to their special day and it shows when you look through her & Elliott’s beautiful wedding album, captured by the very talented Bloom Weddings.

Wedding Stationary
Emma & Elliott made sure their wedding guests would start getting excited about their tipi wedding right from the off, by sending out the most unique ‘build your own’ tipi wedding save the dates we have ever seen at Special Event Tipis – created by Emma’s own company Blush & Blossoms.

Following this they also sent out beautifully illustrated and coordinated wedding invites, including illustrated maps of their venues High Barn, Edenhall.

We also display some examples of these amazing invites at Open Days so you can see them in the flesh, but do get in touch with Emma to see how she can help you with creating some amazing personalised invites and save the date cards for your own special event. Don’t forget your ‘on the day’ stationary such as menus and name cards, which Emma can help with too!

Here comes the bride

And the gorgeous natural bride look was completed with hair styling by Natalie Shaffi and make up by Lauren Amy Make Up

Wedding Venue
Emma & Elliott booked their wedding at one of our favourite Cumbrian wedding venues, High Barn on the Edenhall Estate. With stunning, panoramic views overlooking both the Eden Valley and the Lake District, as well as plenty of luxury accommodation on the Estate, it makes this venue one to remember.

We love wedding flowers here at Special Event Tipis and Emma & Elliott’s wedding did not disappoint! Emma’s gorgeous bouquet, bridesmaid’s bouquets, Elliott and the bridal party’s button holes were all created by the very talented Laura at Greenwheat.
Our Edison Chandelier was decorated with beautiful foliage by Sally at Roseberry Floral Design. The table floral decorations were created by Cumberland Flower Farm

Decoration
The coordinated wedding signs were created by Jill Liley Chalkboard Lettering on props supplied by Wilde and Romantic, including an order of service, welcome sign, seating plan and table numbers, as well as a bar sign! Wilde and Romantic also provided the table decor, such as candle sticks, which fit the theme and colour scheme perfectly!

Emma also made her own rag bunting which was hung around the bar barn at High Barn and also asked us to hang some between the peaks of the tipi, which looks absolutely amazing! Do get in touch for costs of hanging your own bunting like this. If you don’t fancy making miles of bunting yourself, don’t worry as we are able to hang festoon lighting in the same way which makes for a gorgeous twinkly alternative!

Food and Drink
Delicious offerings were supplied by Bear’s Pantry and Craft Bar.

Finally we wanted to mention an amazing video created by Bloom Weddings, which is simply gorgeous.
