Founded in 2011, Special Event Tipis has now helped over 1000 couples plan their perfect wedding day and special event!

We offer teepee tents and sailcloth marquee hire for events of any size, from intimate wedding blessings of twenty-five, to large corporate events and festivals, at any time of year across venues in the Lake District, Cumbria, Northumberland, Lancashire, North Yorkshire and southern Scotland.

Made from natural materials, our giant tipi tents and sailcloth tents are a more eco-friendly option for your wedding day, corporate event, festival or party.

We stock  3 different types of tipi tent structure, the Giant Hat, our Kung Tipi and our Nimbus Tipi – a standalone mini tipi tent perfect for bars, photo booths, outdoor chill out areas, children’s play areas…the possibilities are endless!

Stretch Tent

Welcoming our luxury stretch tent marquees. They are 10m x 15m and include a soft, natural canvas with bamboo poles and fairy lighting.  Dressed up or down they create a light and airy and space for ceremonies which can be added to your order right at the last minute; when we know, what the unpredictable British weather is going to do!
