If the weather has been particularly wet or is forecast to be damp, we take extra precautions by laying a membrane underneath the matting. This ensures that any moisture from the grass doesn’t seep through, keeping your event space dry and comfortable throughout the celebration.

This woven matting is our basic flooring option and is included in the price of your tipi or sailcloth hire, providing a practical yet stylish solution for your event. It offers a rustic charm while maintaining the functionality needed for a successful gathering.

Hard Flooring

Being based in the North of England, we know all too well how unpredictable the weather can be! If your chosen site is particularly rutted or spongy underfoot, opting for hard flooring beneath your woven matting is a wise choice. This not only ensures that your flooring is flush and level, but it also keeps your matting elevated and out of the mud, providing a clean and inviting space for your guests.

Hard flooring can be especially beneficial if your ground conditions are quite hard, such as on hardcore surfaces, ensuring that your event area remains comfortable and stable regardless of the weather.

This option is available as an extra for £4.00 plus VAT per metre, plus additional delivery costs. By choosing hard flooring, you can enjoy peace of mind, knowing that your event will proceed smoothly, rain or shine.

Ivory Carpet

Introducing a beautiful new addition to enhance your sailcloth marquee! Our ivory carpet brings an elegant touch, providing a classic look with a crisp, clean finish that elevates the entire atmosphere of your event. This optional extra not only adds a layer of sophistication but also offers comfort for your guests as they mingle and celebrate.

Available for an additional £8.00 plus VAT per metre, along with a small additional delivery fee, this carpet option is perfect for those looking to create a polished and refined setting.
