Kimberley and Paul’s magical woodland teepee wedding in the amazing Grizedale Forest, at the heart of the Lake District, Cumbria.
We absolutely loved this Lake District tipi event (tepee event), which was held in a venue, very special to the couple in one of the Lake District’s most spectacular forests, Grizedale forest.
Hidden away in a fairytale woodland area of the forest, Kimberley and Paul had their main tipis (tepees) set up with clear tipi side panels to keep out the October chill and also had a ceremony tipi (ceremony tepee) set up ready to welcome their guests and for the beautiful bride to walk down the tipi aisle!
The ceremony was a beautiful celebration held in our gorgeous Ceremony Tipi (ceremony tepee) filled with friends, family and twinkly fairy lights. Kimberley was serenaded down the aisle by singer Jamie Rooke, which was a real treat for the tipi wedding guests.
The groom and groomsmen stayed at the wonderful Waterhead Hotel, which is also a fabulous Lake District Tipi wedding venue (Lake District tepee wedding venue) in its own right and the bridal party spent the pre wedding night at The Swan at Newby Bridge.

And we cant believe how talented Paul, the lovely groom is, with creating this amazing outdoor tipi order of service and all the table names too! They compliment the wedding seating plan and the tipis perfectly!
We absolutely love the tipi woodland wedding flowers, which were created by the very talented Lake District wedding florist, Bluebell & Ivy from Ullverston, Cumbria. Bluebell & Ivy created all the bouquets as well as the corsages and this INCREDIBLE wedding cake topper – I don’t think I’ve ever seen a cake quite as spectacular as this inside our tipis!
The little finishing touches at this woodland wedding are beautiful and so well coordinated! We love the eco friendly, flower petal confetti, as well as the personalised ‘have a drink on us’ wedding favours!
And you have to have a mention for a gorgeous first dance at a wedding, made extra twinkly with our carnival DANCE and BAR signs and fairy lights
The gorgeous Lake District offers so much in the way of views and spectacular photo opportunities and it certainly didn’t disappoint for Kimberley & Paul and their amazing wedding photographer Klair Flint Photography, caught some amazing images overlooking the incredible Lake District views across the Cumbrian mountains.
